Its been ages since I last posted ,a few things have been and gone. Started Fishing again after many years ,went to a quiet lake with Chris who lives over the road from me and we had a lovely day, caught 4 myself, not bad considering I have not fished since my teens, have well and truly got the bug now again.
Rhiannon told us she was going to have a Baby next May this is big news as we are now going to be first time Grand Parents, Judy is all exited and wants to buy clothes already but the rest of the family have not been told yet so we have to keep quiet for the time being, Rhi is going to tell them when she gets back off of Holiday. It does not sem 5 minuets ago she was a little girl herself now she is going to be a Mum, Jo is ecstatic and all hyper at the thought of her sister having a child ,exiting times for all.
Richard , Judy's brother is in Canada, she is finding looking after her Mother hard work but he will be back in two weeks time, we always fight alot in this situation as she is not a coper and worries needlessly about too much.
I have got a interview at St Thomas's Hospital regarding my Heart operation at the end of the month 30th September looks like things are moving and In am beginning to get slightly nervous now as it seems the time to go into Hospital is getting closer. this prelimery interview is to determin whether I am fit enough to have surgery , my sister Diane is coming to London with me as they suggest a chaperone for the day in the letter that was sent.
Busy month this month lots of things going on ,will try to keep abreast of it all and keep Diary up to date.

Well off I went to Croydon for my Medical interview to see if I am fit to work ,don't know the out come yet . I was interveiwed by a very quietly spoken man he maybe was from the West coast of Africa ,the interview lasted an hour and was mainly centered around the symptoms of my condition.
I will admit I do not like London or any of its suburbs the place feels overcrowded claustrophobic with no heart or community, being born and bred in the country I feel much more at home with fields and trees with Animals , its interesting to pop up the M25 now and then and to realise this is all on our doorstep and we are not as rural as we once where maybe 50 years ago is a eye opener, with so many people wishing to live in Tonbridge from the London area now and all the building going on here my Grandfathers prediction is coming true when he said in the 1950/60's that one day we will also become a suburb of London also.
We have talked at home (Judy & I) of moving away from the South East, at the moment she has her Mother who has dementia and is in a world of her own to help look after with Richard her Brother, who is off to Canada for 3 weeks soon, lucky sod. Plus my Mum & Dad are in their seventies now , we will get away one day as the South East is so over crowded now as is the whole of the Country last senus reports 61 million of us now crammed into this little Island, there is no room to breath any more' at least where we are in Silver Close it is fairly quiet and we over look a copse at the back of the house.

Well we have arrived home from Weymouth the weather had turned nasty (drizzle & Fog) not good so we left at 7.30 and made good time home it was very quiet for a Bank holiday.
This is Benji Joanna's naughty little cat in Weymouth( Jo lives with Stuart in Wymouth and Rhiannon the eldest has her own flat in Southborough with Ashley), we all love him but he is very good at scratching and clawing being a Kitten
he cannot help himself 'that's the cat not Ashley' by the way .
Jo and Stuart are both hoping to buy a House next year 2010 they are saving hard and we as parents think quite rightly it would be a good thing, with any luck it will not be in Weymouth as it is not the nicest of seaside towns away from the tourist side of things it is a bit rough and run down. still you can only hope for the best for your off spring. theit flat is nice and airy though with 2 Bedrooms Kitchen & Large living room.
last bank holiday of the year now Autumn is in the air and everyone back to work tommorrow, I have to go for a medical in Croydon on Wednesday to see if I am legible to receive benefits while awaiting the Heart Bypass, not looking forward to going up there much but its not that far. quiet evening today bit of TV and not much else , tired from the journney and driving still need to get a early night.

I am now writing this Blog from our eldest daughters Flat that she shares with Stuart in Weymouth, I have Finally got to grips with her laptop and have been surfing to wile away a couple of hours as the weather is overcast and chilly, typical August Bank Holiday weather.
Jo and Stuart have gone to Tonbridge and we have come done here for a few days as a kind of house swop thing, we have Benji with us who is Jo's cat and at only 2 months old is full of mischief and into everything but we all love him to bits, its the same through all the family we all love animals and maybe more than humans, my Dad stopped working with cattle and sheep because he could not no longer see them born nurture them and then see them off to the Abattoir.
Myself and Judy have been a bit edgy towards each other especially yesterday, I think waiting for this op and spending a lot of time together is not doing us much good. still its a break and we are off home tomorrow (bank hol Monday)

Well here we are ! creating a kind of Diary which I hope is something I can keep too as my track record of staying with one subject is pretty thin, but I think this one is worth it.
At this moment in time in my 53rd year I am at home awaiting a Heart Bypass, I have been to Hospital ( Kent & Sussex ) 8 weeks ago now due to a suspected 2nd heart attack, had the first one in April 2001, this all runs in the family on my Mothers side and there has been known of relatives to fall over at the Kitchen table dead in the past, so it is not by any coincidence that my Mothers brother and sister have had a triple bypass of their own, them both being some what older than myself, I feel to young to go through all this , to some 52 may seem old but when you get here it is not, especially in the good health service we have today.
So today I have been to my GP who is in charge of the 'out patient ' side of things while awaiting a date to be admitted to St Thomas Hospital in London , He has given me another 4 weeks off of work. I will say collecting benefits does not sit well being the old school type but I am looking upon it as 6 months off of work and seeing as I have been working since I was sixteen , got married ,bought up a family, had two nervous breakdowns and two heart attacks as mentioned I Think I am owed some time off cautiously of Mrs Windsors government and the contributions I have paid.
